During the years that I have known Paul I found him always interested in the children and what they were doing. He was especially concerned for Charles who suffered a great deal with asthma. Paul would often have ideas of how to improve the quality of air in Charles' bedroom and would recommend things he had used to help himself with his own breathing.
He was also interested in gardening which is something I enjoy very much. 2 Christmases ago he gave me a wonderful stool to aid me in the garden . I am able to kneel comfortably to plant my vegetables and then there are supports to pull myself up by and after an exhausting days gardening I can turn the stool round and sit and admire the work I've done! it was a wonderful gift and it will often bring back memories of Paul.
