Charles's Memories

Created by Charles 7 years ago
I am very sorry that I will be unable to make it to the funeral. Even from a young age I have always been fascinated by Paul's stories. The dominant theme in most of these anecdotes was his love of motorbikes, whether it be racing them or building them. I spent many happy hours over the years looking through his photo albums and news paper cuttings in admiration of all he had achieved. I am sure the lasting impression Paul had on my father, as he was growing up, helped influence his decision to buy me my first 50cc Honda aged about 7. I spent many happy years riding through fields and woodland before upgrading to 125cc motocross bike. I would love nothing more than talking to Paul about my exploits and picking up any tips that he might be able to offer me. He was a hugely knowledgeable and engaging man who will be greatly missed. I am very grateful for the time I got to spend with him.
